Suntory brings SUI to the Philippines, a new standard of gin.

It takes its name SUI 翆 after the Kingfisher. On the bottle, the bold Kanji character is inked by master calligrapher Tansetsu Ogino. Kanji 翡翠, which means Jade, is a nod to its tall hexagonal shape reflecting clear and beautiful blue-green accents that speak of Suntory’s hope that SUI will spread its wings and soar high in the gin market.

First UT Collaboration with Wildly Popular Jujutsu Kaisen to Launch on June 7

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO announces that it will bring out its first UT (UNIQLO T-Shirt) collaboration collection with Jujutsu Kaisen on Monday, June 7. This Japanese manga series has become wildly popular, with the total number of copies in circulation exceeding 45 million. The new collection features exclusive designs from illustrations in the manga that highlight the magical powers of the sorcerers whose personalities have made the series so attractive. A second UT selection with exclusive designs from the anime television series will follow at a later date to please all fans of the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise.

When in Ortigas, I always look for new foodie finds, because I feel as if there aren't much at the area. Last year, I kept on seeing this place where that has a huge statue of a Japanese man standing in front of the restaurant. Little did I know, it was a Sumo Wrestler that represents SEKITORI, the newest "authentic Japanese restaurant" that makes you feel as if you are in Japan.

Who doesn't love desserts? I don't know about you, but I do! Good thing I was with Rain and Alwin at the Mega Food Sale, so they brought me to Akiba Cafe after our hefty lunch at Sushi-Ya. I always go to SM Megamall for lunch, but why did I just discovered this today? I guess I was missing a lot, but now I know where to drag the girls for cakes and coffee.

Turning Japanese at Sushi-Ya

It's the MEGA FOOD SALE once again and it runs from August 17-19! If there's one thing I love to do, its trying out places to eat. And I cannot believe that there is a Japanese gem hidden downstairs SM Megamall Building B. No, its not Yamashita's treasure, but a restaurant which serves yummy Japanese treats and fits to your budget. Located at the Lower Ground Floor, SUSHI-YA is my first pit stop to this foodie adventure.

When I discovered that it will occupy a Uniqlo store in the Philippines, just imagine my delight that they finally brought it here.
