It was the first time I ever met Sanya Lopez and Derrick Monasterio in person and I was quite impressed. Sanya is so pretty with her morena features, and Derrick has that boy-next-door charm that will make you swoon. But with their wholesome selves, I am so intrigued with their newest steamy movie, Wild and Free. Produced by Regal Entertainment Inc., this intimate movie opens in cinemas this October 10.
When you first see the trailer of Wild and Free, you will definitely feel that the movie is daring and very bold. It has become controversial and netizens went gaga over it. Most of them were surprised that they are now tackling more mature roles. As a matter of fact, the love scenes seem so believable that the director, Direk Connie Macatuno, revealed that even Derrick's girl will get jealous.
Derrick admitted that he was reluctant during he and Sanya had to shoot their first love scene.
"Nakakatakot kasi baka bigla akong masampal. Siyempre ako, na-envision ko na agad yung magiging takbo ng scene, kung ano yung mangyayari," explains the 23-year-old actor. Though they were shooting love scenes, he knew his limitations.
As for Sanya, she was so nervous since this will be her first daring role. But thankful enough, she did not feel violated during the sensitive scenes as Derrick was a total gentleman the whole time.
Wild and Free tells the story of Ellie, an independent and self-supporting woman, working as a part time TNVS driver, picks up Jake, a man from his past. While on the trip, they reminisce their happy times when they were still a couple. Howeve, complications arise when Jake discover's Ellie's secret, that made a huge impact on their life.
I am just so excited to see this masterpiece as it shows this October 10 in cinemas.
