Beach Escapade at Playa Laiya Batangas

Playa Laiya at San Juan, Batangas
I must have been a mermaid in my past life.

Swimming in December? Why not? I have always been a “beach” person. I don’t think I would pass the opportunity to relax, hear the waves, bond with friends and just enjoy the waters. Before Christmas, I spent the day at the beach and was so happy to go on a trip at Playa Laiya, Batangas - a three hour drive away from the hustle and bustle of Manila.

Playa Laiya is located at San Juan, Batangas, and a master planned exclusive seaside residential community that is developed by Landco Pacific Corporation. From the minute you step on the property, a feeling of relaxation is already in store. This luxurious leisure-tourism estate will make you calm and serene.

Playa Laiya Beach
Your Day Tour is packed with a mountain view beach and crystal clear waters. As I've said earlier, I must have been a mermaid in my past life because I just could not get enough of the beach, and Playa Laiya complements what I have in mind - a relaxing treat and just listening to the waves.

Beach Cabana

Pool Cabana
The resort is open from from Tuesdays to Sundays, 8:00AM to 6:00 PM. There are different cabanas you can rent, for a temporary retreat while inside the vicinity. Aside from the beach, the majestic infinity pool is also available for water-loving enthusiasts. They also feature kiddie pools with bubblers and outdoor jacuzzi.

What is an outing without food? You can bring food inside the establishment with a corkage fee of Php100 per person, or you can opt for sumptuous meals at The Sands, their resident restaurant. The Sands offer local dishes and even delectable desserts. They have a different variety everyday.

Mermaid Feels at Pampang Island

Are you into water sports? Encourage your family or friends to enjoy the different water activities, namely, Jet Ski, Banana Boat, Parasailing, Kayaking, Flying Fish and Beach Volleyball. During our stay, we also went Island Hopping at Pampang Island, just a boat ride away from Playa Laiya. The calm waters made me enjoy this trip. I am pretty sure that I'll be coming back for more this summer.

Oh, and if you get so tired of all the activities, you can call their masseurs for a body massage while listening to the birds chirping and waves crashing. Such a pretty, pretty life indeed.
