With the Phenomenal Box-Office Star Vice
Ganda, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, and Comedy Concert Queen AiAi delas,
what could possibly go wrong with this movie? This Star Cinema and Viva Film’s
Official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival will probably make you laugh
so hard that you would invite all your family and friends to watch it with you.
Of course, you would want to share joy to everyone right?
During the press conference, Ms. Kris
Aquino told everyone that this movie is more about Aiai and Vice, as she was
the villain at this movie playing the role of Roselle. But of course, she’s the
“Devil Wears Prada” kind of antagonist because she wears all the classy
outfits.
As for Ms. AiAi, who’s a veteran in every
MMFF, she’s now without her 12 kids in every Ang Tanging Ina franchise and her
role in this movie as Detty, is what just the title gives away, about sisters.
But I cannot wait how Kathryn Bernardo acts as her daughter in this film, with Daniel Padilla as her love interest, nonetheless.
But what makes it more of a hit? I know
that Vice Ganda will deliver lots of puns in Sisterakas as Bernice, the “lord
of apparels industry” and the owner of the Ponytale company. Their trailer is
enough for me to watch it as soon as it releases. Sisterakas is directed by
Wenn Deramas and it also stars Xyriel Manabat.
