Lately, I have been into Ingrid Michaelson's songs. After Girls Chase Boys, I'm so into The Way I Am. And it actually make me want to go back to my first love - Singing. These made me realize that I need to re-learn playing the guitar. 

So many years back, I was so into learning how to play the guitar and piano. I wanted to make music like my teenage idols. The guitar was like a Musicians friend. Playing the instrument gives me that different kind of high. As I grew older, music made everything so easy - moving on, bringing the love back, consoling a friend, and all that sorts. 

Now, I'm sharing you one of my favorite songs. The Way I Am is simple, yet full of love. Unconditional, no-holds barred kind of feeling. The kind where I want to play and sing my own songs someday...one day.

I love KTV! If you're frequent to my Facebook wall, you would notice how many Starmaker competitions I've tried in my life. So when I found out the Centerstage KTV is opening at SM Mall of Asia, I accepted the invitation and even tried to join their first Centerstage Idol Challenge. 

But before telling about the contest, let me introduce you to my (now) favorite place in the world, the Centerstage KTV. Opening its third branch (after Timog and Jupiter, Makati), they have been a home for inspiring divas and rock stars since 2007. What I loved about their KTV rooms are how spacious and comfy they are. Adding the best KTV sound system in the market, you will surely feel like a true blue singer (if you still aren’t) inside Centerstage.

Last year, the KWC or Karaoke World Championship Philippines made amateur singers Lyda Shyla Roxas and Joel Cruz become world champion singers during the competition at Killarney, Ireland. One year have passed and the Search for the 2012 Filipino Karaoke Champions begin this August and here's the best part Amateur Singing Contest Champions from 2010 to May 2012 are invited to join the auditions for them to become world class quality performers.
