Five top visual artists join World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines as art ambassadors to support its biodiversity conservation efforts. For their very first project, BenCab, Elmer Borlongan, Geraldine Javier, Mark O. Justiniani, and José Santos III created limited-edition sculptures, inspired by the organization’s iconic panda logo.  Done in collaboration with Tin-aw Art Management Inc. and Secret Fresh, the show is the initial project of “Art, Heart, Earth,” a WWF-Philippines campaign to work with the cultural sector.

June 5, 2011 - active and sports minded Filipinos are all invited by the Kapatid Network, TV5 to kick off their new sports and active lifestyle programs on IBC Channel 13, the AKTV. The AKTV Run will be held at the SM Mall of Asia grounds, Pasay City as they introduce the primetime sports block.

AKTV Run will entice their Kapatid followers on what to expect from the soon to be launched home of sports and encourage its viewers especially sports enthusiasts, health buffs and Filipinos who are determined to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.

Partnering with RunRio, the country's leading race organizer, a four category race is in store for us: 3k, 5K, 10K and 21K. The race will start at 5:30AM, hosted by Manu Sandejas and Chiqui Roa, both from the Kapatid Network. Booths and sports tents are also in store after the run. If you're going to bring kids, they can enjoy Cartoon Network, Disney and Batibot booths, while the older guests can watch demos for billiards, boxing, basketball and mixed martial arts. Photo booths of various TV5 shows like Bagets, Iskul Bukol and Bangis are also available, as well as food and beverage booths.

Mr. Vito Lazatin, AKTV Manager said, "We believe that sports deserves a home and AKTV is our solution to that". The AKTV Run proceeds will go for the benefit of WWF.
