Yes, you read that right! Make Your Momma Proud or MYMP is definitely back with their new album: MYMP: The Unreleased Acoustic Collection. Continuing to swoon us with their incredible music, the band, led by Chin Alcantara (guitarist), Jeff Lima (drummer), Hannche Bobis, (keyboardist) and Ibey Haber (bassist) is now with a new vocalist, Juliet Bahala, an 18 year-old regional singing champ from Davao.

Launched this afternoon at the Robinson's Manila, their 14-track album features Juliet's renditions of the greatest hits of the 90's like Think of Laura, Til They Take My Heart Away, Power of Two, Piano in the Dark and Baby Now That I've Found You. Joining their powerful list of songs are the music that made us fall in love like Superman, Forever Blue, Cruisin', Someday We'll Know, Dont Dream Its Over, Buses and Trains, People are People, Breakout and the carrier single of the album, Sway, originally sung by Bic Runga.

The concept of their new album are their previous versions of these songs that they may have sung live during their concerts. Chin Alcantara, believes that "studio versions might be appreciated by the listeners".

With their new vocalist, all eyes are on Juliet Bahala to fill the shoes of former member, Juris Fernandez. With her soothing voice and performs ballads and even RnBs as well, MYMP will surely be expected a lot in the music industry. Hopefully in the following albums, they could instill their original songs that would best fit for Juliet's voice.

As for now, we can enjoy this must have album and listen away about this collection that is full of love and its many phases. A worth buy for the romantics and daydreamers.

You can also catch MYMP in their Mall Promo tours on May 13 at Robinson's Sta. Rosa Laguna, May 14 at Robinson's Summit Ridge Tagaytay, May 15 at Robinson's Lipa, Batangas, May 28 at Robinson's Starmills Pampanga and May 29 at Robinson's Dasmarinas Cavite.
