I was fond of buying comics when I was in Elementary. My Lola would always give me coins so I could buy the things that I want, while I spend for enjoyable reads. Whenever my budget fails, I resort to the newspapers that my Lolo bring home from work. As SOLO featured the work of Larry Alcala last 2010, and the Father of Filipino Cartoons, Tony Velasquez and Kenkoy last year, they are bringing back its Pinoy Cartoonist Memorabilia Series with Tonton Young's "Pupung", one of my most favorite reads while I was growing up.
