Greenwich, the number one pizza and pasta brand in the Philippines, celebrated Friendship Month with Barkada Box Awards last August. The Barkada Box Awards is Greenwich’s pioneering and chalog (charming plus kalog) way of appreciating our friends through creatively designed limited time offer pizza boxes that is meant to be entertainingly awarded to each of our barkada. 

In a recent culmination activity dubbed as “Barkada Box Awards Grand Hangout,” kabarkadas from all ages converged at the Market! Market! Activity Center to be thankful for new and old friendships by way of entertaining photo booths, free-flowing pizza slices and a chance to bond with Greenwich kabarkadas Enrique Gil and Yassi Pressman. 

Greenwich came up with four witty personalities that became the inspiration of the Barkada Box Awards. Which award would you give to your barkada? 

Beshie ng Bayan Award 

Para sa barkadang friend ng bayan, ang galing mag-small talk kahit saan… 

Hi doon, hello dito… grabe, kulang na lang kaibiganin ang multo… 

Ang galing mong promotor, kahit sa pizza, ikaw ang donor! 

Marupok Award 

Para sa kabarkadang ‘di makatanggi kay ex, isang tawag lang o text… 

Madalas kay boss puro ‘yes’, o sa mall sale, always nakapila siya, bes… 

Madaling mag-give in! Kung maka-order ng pizza, talagang ‘di nabibitin! 

Barkada Cutie 

Para sa barkadang habulin ng manliligaw, atensyon ng madla, talagang naaagaw!

Food and friends is a good combination and with a cool hangout place, it will surely be perfect. Greenwich is known in serving flavorful pizzas which undoubtedly is best enjoyed with friends. They have been also transforming their stores into a cool and hip pizzeria which is very conducive to barkada hangout. One of the recent additions to this new store concept is their branch in Kanlaon street corner Quezon Avenue in Quezon City. The store is the perfect barkada go-to place after school or work, or when you simply crave for pizzas.

Last July 16 and 17, Greenwich gave away 10,000 boxes of Pizza Thins nationwide. The two day event was packed with a lot of happenings as they shared pizza for everyone and dubbed it as #CrackThat Day. An attractive and interactive Greenwich booth was also set-up in Alabang Town Center where there are dance numbers, games and post-worthy elements found in the booth to give mall-goers a special treat.

Whenever I’m with friends or family, Greenwich Pizza is the way to go because of their Pizza Feasts and barkada treats. Recently, they launched their newest concept store, the Greenwich Pizzeria, where you can also enjoy their popular Hawaiian Overload Pizza, Lasagna Supreme and more.

As they open the Greenwich Pizzeria, you can't help but feel nostalgic because it reminds you of home. It now looks like a place where you can bond with your closest friends and loved ones. See the "new and refreshing" look of the Greenwich Pizzeria, where first opened at the SM City North EDSA:

Pretty neat, isn't it? I bet you would want to see and feel this new minimalist look too. Its interior has that familiar and homey feel using the wood and brick elements, as if you are travelling in a warp space into an authentic pizzeria. 

They now have a lounge, main dining area, a balcony, a banquet and even an enclosed dining space for private meetings or parties. The seating also varies from couches, booths, long tables, bar stools and even queen sized sofas for that ultimate pizzeria experience. It is colorful and lively, I would want to bring the boyfriend there, because I'm sure that he'll enjoy sitting at a courtside-like booth. 

Aside from our favorite pizzas (Mine is Ham and Cheese or Hawaiian Overload, I love ordering the Lasagna Supreme, that completed with the creaminess of white sauce, the chunkiness of red sauce, all while mixing with the cheesy taste, sweet sour blend of sauces, spiciness and meatiness. It is so sumptuous, my friends and I can finish it within a few minutes. 

Visit this young, mid-century industrial Greenwich Pizzeria now and love the place, the food and ambiance. Everything is absolutely here! While at it, you might even bring your uno cards or pictionary tools and have fun with your best buddies. The possibilities are endless and I love it!
