If diamonds are a girl’s best friend, then cars are of a man’s. I haven’t seen a guy who wouldn’t drool if a car’s set-up is swell, and to make things more interesting, they’d talk nonstop about it. I love cars, but I’d rather take the passenger seat.

Fast 5 takes us to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) escapes from prison with the help of his sister Mia (Jordana Brewster) and former enemy/ cop Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker). Their escape to the other side of the country was such a success, but when they crossed the corrupt businessman Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida), taking away the Ford GT40 where Reyes’ drug dealings were stored, they had to put up a solid team to steal $100 million from the latter. But as their plan was finally setting in order, DSS agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) also pursues to seize Toretto and put him behind bars once again.
High speed cars and an interesting storyline, Fast 5 will make your adrenaline rush, keep you fairly emotional (with Mia and Brian’s scenes), fall in love with the characters (Read: Ludacris and Tyrese) and will make you love the sights and sounds of Rio de Janeiro. Oh, and don’t leave your seats yet during credits, a clipping of a Fast and the Furious 6 spoiler is in store for us.
