PETA's Rak of Aegis Returns on its 5th Year

PETA's smash hit musical finally returns! Among its musicals, I must admit that Rak of Aegis is one I'm very excited about. Since Aegis' songs are all about love, heartbreak and basically about life, the special preview this July 26, Tuesday at 8:00 PM will surely be a hit again. 

Rak of Aegis runs from June 17 to August 28 at PETA Theater Center. Now on its 5th run, it also coincides with the company's 50th year celebration. The show features a new roster of artists.

This production has already made over 20 awards on its name since 2014. They have won Outstanding Original Musical, Outstanding Musical Direction, Outstanding Stage Direction Outstanding Original Libretto to name a few. They have also featured notable talents like The Voice runner up Alisah Bonaobra, and actress Tanya Manalang.

Joining the RAK stage are powerhouse veterans up-and-coming theatre actors Vince Lim (Kenny), Carla Laforteza (Mary Jane), Tricia Jimenez and Joann Co (alterating as Mercy) and Jon Santos (alternating as Fernan).

Reprising the role of “Aileen” is Kapuso breakout star Aicelle Santos and TV/theater actress Kim Molina. Several talented Venizia veterans are back as well, including Jerald Napoles, Pepe Herrera, Benj Manalo, Myke Salomon, Poppert Bernadas, OJ Mariano, Renz Verano, Loy Martinez, Shiela Valderrama-Martinez, Sweet Plantado, Kakai Bautista, Neomi Gonzales, Juliene Mendoza, Gilbert Onida, Jimi Marquez, Phi Palmos, Ron Alfonso, Carlon Matobato, Gio Gahol, John Moran, Paeng Sudayan, Roi Calilong, Gimbey Dela Cruz, Abi Sulit, Via Antonio, Gold Villar, Teetin Villanueva, Raflesia Bravo, Jet Barrun, and Gab Pangilinan.
