My Little Bossings Shows This December 25 at MMFF 2013

It's the Metro Manila Film Festival time once again! And this year, I will be watching the much awaited movie, My Little Bossings, which stars Vic Sotto, James "Bimby" Aquino Yap and Ryzza Mae Dizon. This family-oriented movie will make you remember what the Christmas Season is for -- the kids and the child who was born in the manger.

I followed the "My Little Bossings" from the first day Bimby and Ryzza Mae met at KrisTV and The Ryzza Mae show. At first, they seemed awkward around each other, because Bimby speaks fluent English, while Ryzza has TV shows for the mass media. But since they were both charming and intelligent, you'd know that this will be a perfect match. One like "Pido and Dida", where we all loved Rene Requiestas and Kris Aquino.

"Nakakatuwa talaga yung dalawang bata. They complement each other so well. You can see that when you watch the movie. Nagtuturuan, nagtatawanan, sabay napapagod, sabay nagugutom. Masaya lang kami sa set. Para lang kaming laging naglalaro," said My Little Bossings' lead star and co-producer, Vic Sotto.

Aside from the three, Queen of All Media and MMFF Box-office Queen Kris Aquino is also part of the movie. It is said that one of Kris' reasons in accepting the film is that she wanted her son Bimby's first experience in making movies to be with someone of Vic's stature and humility. What I loved about Kris, is she moved out of the limelight, so that Bimby would shine this season. What is not more heartwarming than that?

In My Little Bossings, Vic Sotto plays the role Torky Villanueva who works as a bookeeper for the millionaire cash management specialist Baba Atienza (Kris Aquino). Because of some conflict in her business, Baba entrusts her son Justin (Bimby) to Torky’s care for fear of her life. In the meantime, Torky’s niece Ice (Aiza) who lives in the same house with him, is involved in an advocacy for street children where street kid Ching (Ryzza ) becomes her special ward. Ice brings Ching home when the orphanage closed down. The fun begins when all these people start living in one roof while they each tackle his respective personal dilemma.

Watch the trailer below and have a good laugh. I'm pretty sure that once you're done, you'd like to know how the story unfolds and watch the movie soon.

My Little Bossings also stars Aiza Seguerra, Jaclyn Jose, Jose Manalo, Paolo Ballesteros, Barbie Forteza, Neil Coleta, and Neil Sese from the direction of Marlon Rivera. Story and screenplay by Bibeth Orteza.

When I asked Vic on how they fused the "sosyal" to "masa", Ryzza Mae speaks up that "sosyal din naman po ako, hindi lang halata". Now that is one bibo kid. Vic also aims that by showing My Little Bossings, they could entertain the public despite the many problems of the country. Plus, he wanted a kind of film that people of all ages, even his grandkids, can enjoy.

My Little Bossings is produced by OctoArts Films, M-Zet Films, APT Entertainment and Kris Aquino Productions. This heartwarming and quality movie will bring you laughter, wit, and lessons this holiday season.

This Metro Manila Film Festival 2013 entry will be shown on Christmas Day.
