If I were not a Filipino, I would probably be Italian. Its the vibe, fashion and the food that makes me want to go to Italy someday. Lucky for us, we don't need to go there just for the food, because Gambino is now open at the Forbestown Burgos Circle at the Bonifacio Global City and their Italian offerings are just so posh!

Gambino is a 70-seater restaurant that was inspired by the regime of Carlo Gambino, one of the phenomenal "five families for their Mafia's nationwide activity in Italy and New York. Its menu was created by a powerhouse team that gives us an authentic Italian cooking with a modern twist. Led by Chef Giorgio Bucciarelli, their amazing flavors are complemented by Chef Christine Nicole Nicolas, Chef Elaine Sanchez and actor-entrepreneur, Marvin Agustin. 

The first time I stepped into Gambino, I already felt its cozy vibe. This will be a place I'd like my date to bring me to. They have wide arrays of "aged" rib-eye steaks, designer pizzas, mouth watering pastas and the classic Italian entrees.

Aside from what we ordered, Gambino boasts of its original homemade Salcicce (Italian Sausage), Carbonara Classica with guanciale, Risotto Tartufo, Chicken Cacciatore and Beef Carpaccio. According to Chef Giorgio, they use only the freshest ingredients and makes authentic Italian sauce and cheeses, while their pizza dough and noodles are served fresh. My favorite among the pizzas is the pesto, because its like having pizza and pasta in one eating. The Gambino Salad is also a must-try for the health buffs. And they also guarantee value for your money.

Now I can't wait to go to Gambino again. They also have an ongoing promo where its  20% off from Monday to Friday, 11am to 3pm for all food and non alcoholic beverages. Gambino is open from Monday to Sunday, 11am - 11pm. For reservations and special occasions, you may call 550-2164.
