Ensembles Announces the WEAR MY DESIGN Winners for Spring 2013

Are you ready to wear their design this love month?

Ensembles Spring 2013 has given young and hopeful designers the opportunity to showcase their talent in Philippine fashion when five lucky ladies emerged as winners of the Wear My Design Contest. Among hundred entries, they can now live their dream of being acknowledged as a designer by getting their masterpiece on the racks of Ensembles to be worn by Filipinas all over the country.

So let us put the spotlight on the 5 dresses that has won the hearts of many. Ensembles now presents you the 5 Grand Winners of the Wear my Design contest:

Andre by April Joy Dela Cruz (Php1695)

Boss of Paradise by Mymy Ludovico (Php1895)

Futuristic Spring by Michelle Sarmiento (Php1595)

Peplum Dress by Pamela Victoria (Php1595)

Iolana by Regina Natividad (Php1595)

The lovely ladies that created these fashionable pieces are Regina Natividad, Mymy Ludovico, Pamela Victoria, Michelle Sarmiento and April Joy Dela Cruz. Four of them has background in fashion design except for Pamela. She quoted, “Not quite. I just thought of a concept that would fit a stylish woman in a corporate world and something that is understated yet elegant and would add a stylish twist to a normal office outfit.”

For the Iolana design, Regina was inspired by her daughter who passed away. Her sentimental past was the reason she got up and showed her creativity. And would you believe that April submitted her garments on the very last day of submission? But her passion made it possible for her to win in the contest. 

Ms. Carmina Villaroel says the designs look flattering, and practical for someone with a busy schedule like her.

These dresses are made out of love for fashion. When asked how to define an Ensembles woman, Mymy said, “One who is confident, knows the trends and can carry it well. She can stand on her own and can stand out at the same time”.

The winning creations are to be released as part of the Spring 2013 Collection of Ensembles and are expected to hit the stores nationwide this February 2013.
