Meralco's SIX helpful apps

Meralco goes interactive. With the chaing times, they have also started an app that makes them connect with the interactive Filipinos through the recently launched MeralcO Virtual Engine (MOVE). This free app, which you can easily download at any apps store, has six functions that provide round the clock access to Meralco’s services and directory. And they can be accessed via smartphones or tablets.

Because most of Pinoys are now online, MOVE offers assistance and convenience when it comes to managing their electricity and helpful tips that they can use from time to time.

1.      Apps that offer location help

a. Meralco Office Directory –You can find the nearest Meralco office in your area

b. Bayad Center – Find out where you can conveniently pay your Meralco bill

2.      Apps for consumption control

a. Meralco Appliance Calculator- Easily compute the amount of electricity an appliance consumes

b. Bright Ideas – Learn better ways to use and save on electricity

3.      Apps that help in planning ahead

a. Power Maintenance Schedule- Stay up to date on the power maintenance schedule in your area

b. E-Meralco bill –View your latest bill even when you’re on the go

During the launch, we were teamed into five and we have to answer the functions of the app. I chose the Bright ideas because I was amazed on how animated it was. You can never go wrong with the moving furniture! :D

The MOVE app is designed for accessibility

What’s most important for me in this app is the E-Meralco Bill. This cuts the time in waiting for the mail to come. And you can preserve the environment by not using paper. Its very convenient and you can just download it on your tablet or phone.
