3M Philippines and Summit Media Hold the 2nd Good Ideas Workshop

Ms. Jackie Lou Blanco hosts the Good Ideas Workshop
Summit Media's Good Housekeeping Magazine and 3M Philippines partnered this August, as they held the second Good Ideas Workshop. The program was attended my moms and lifestyle bloggers last August 12 at the SM City North EDSA. Hosted by Ms. Jackie Lou Blanco, we were treated to a day of fun and basic housekeeping tips for the modern household.

Before the program began, we were ushered into booths of 3M Products. I must say that I am fascinated with the Command Damage Free Hanging Solutions. They give us space management solutions and they keep our homes more organized. Ms. Vivian Faustino, 3M Philippines Construction and Home Improvement Markets Division Head shares, "Following the success of the opening of the GH Good Ideas Workshop in its first leg in Cebu, we at 3M Philippines, together with Summit Media are glad to bring the next leg of this event back to Metro Manila, where it all started. We are here to share 3M's best home improvement solutions as we aspire to become every mom's partner for their home improvement needs."

Ms. Tisha Alvarez-Angluben
The first speaker was Good Housekeeping Editor-in-chief, Ms. Tisha Alvarez - Angluben. She told us to bring out a pen and a paper to answer lifestyle questions. My psychology of clutter says I'm a sentimentalist, due to the fact that I collect too many memorabilia of places I've been to and the like. She left us with a quote from Maya Angelou, "We need much less than we think we need", to ponder on.

Ms. Kat Ong
Professional Organizers are rare in the Philippines, and Ms. Kat Ong might be the only one in the country, who studied and practiced abroad. Her work consists of sitting with the clients and helping them organize a room or a house. She talked about the process of organizing a space and the essentials. But most of all, organizing a space means to maintain what you have brought up together.

3M products were discussed to achieve a Home Sweet Home
Lastly, we were given tips on how to use 3M products for your homes. Some of them were even used as if they were invisible, especially for cords and decors. Its wonderful to know what you can do with their products.

Mommies and attendees won goodies from the raffle
During the raffle, mommies and participants who brought their Good Housekeeping Magazines brought home 3M products for them to use.

It was a fun event that was filled with games, mini booths, food, and prizes. To know more about 3M Philippines, Command and Scotch products, please visit www.3m.com/ph or follow them on Twitter via @3mnews.
