Talented and has a Boy-Next Door Charm - that's how I would describe American Idol Season 7 runner up David Archuleta. After winning second place against David Cook, his rise to stardom did not falter. He even got more recognized with his amazing voice. And last February 17 at the Trinoma Activity Center, Bench and professional hair care label, Bench Fix introduced him as one of their newest endorsers.

David Archuleta didn't became famous overnight. He showcased his talent first at the Utah Talent Competition, The Jenny Jones Show and Star Search where he was crowned Junior Vocal Champion in 2003. It was quite a struggle, but he managed to surpass the Idol hardships and even received the 2nd top spot in the charts with "Crush", his first single from his self-titled album. His album even went gold within several months and the singer spent the first half of 2009 touring with English pop rock band McFly in the U.K. and singer Demi Lovato in America.

Currently, David Archuleta is not just an American Idol, but has the makings of a Philippine Idol as well. His mini-series "Nandito Ako" at TV5 started last February 20, while recording for his OPM album, "Forevermore".

Packed with an amazing voice and boy-next-door looks, the cool and casual Bench pieces like bright plaid button downs, graphic tees, and track jackets, makes David the kind of endorser that's hard to ignore and made for the character.

During the launch, David sang his popular songs like Crush, A Little Too Not Over You and even Let It Be. He even played the keyboards while singing them. People were asking for more and he was never tired of serenading his fans and the whole Trinoma Mall.

David Archuleta certainly moves forward from his music career, adding acting and modeling on his list, with Bench and professional hair care label Bench Fix. Be sure to catch the American idol live in the Philippines this February.
