Before the year ends, HTC threw a party last Wednesday at the Skye Lounge, W High Street Building at The Fort. This also marks the launch of their three newest smartphones, Rhyme, Radar and Explorer, completing the release of nine products for 2011.

With my friends Krystle and Karch, we went to the last HTC party for 2011. I so loved the Skye Lounge. It makes you feel as if you're in another country. I can't believe that such a place exists in The Fort. Let's just say, I have always been a fan of heights and skylines.

But of course, the main highlight of the event is the release of its three smart phones.  See how HTC is quietly brilliant:

The HTC Explorer makes communication easy by letting you categorize your contact list into specific groups. Collective SMS or email is its main feature so you don't have to put check marks if you say, have to message a certain group about a topic. Its shape and form is 102.8 mm in length, 57.2 mm in width. It weighs 108 grams (with battery). Going to your favorite web page is also easy for HTC Explorer's 3.2-inch touch screen. The graphics are easy on your eyes and the text and layout of the website adjusts to your viewing preference. Lastly, HTC Explorer is packed with features like maps and other applications that could blow your mind away. SRP is Php11,900

While Explorer is for the social savvy, HTC Rhyme is for users who wants a sleek smartphone and someone who requires the most advanced features. This stylish phone has an all-new home screen that looks uncluttered and fresh. You can also view your appointments, messages and the your preferred application. It boasts of its 5-megapixel camera with auto focus, power LED flash and instant shutter, to make you capture special moments easily. Its camera features what a digital camera can do - action burst scene, panoramic mode, photo stitch, etc. I think this is best for us ladies. You can avail of this fabulous smartphone with a suggested retail price of Php25,000.

Last but definitely not the least, the HTC Radar smartphone's prized feature is its advanced photography, multimedia and social capabilities. It is also compact in size and definitely an eye candy. The camera features of this smartphone enables you to capture vivid images and videos. This phone also lets you utilize its communication function to a different level. It stores your communication history with each person, and even their social network updates, and the best feature might be using SMS, Facebook chat and Windows Live Messenger in one conversation. Cool eh? HTC Radar is available at Php21,500.

Among these three awesome phones, which one suits your personality and needs? Isn't it great that HTC offers different phones for different people? That's why HTC is definitely BRILLIANT. :)
