First Picnic Inspired Market Opens at Glorietta Dolphin Park

Homegrown dishes, even with restaurants having their own versions, are hard to find in Makati's Central District. How often can you find an Authentic Cebu Lechon or Filipino's favorite streetfood, Isaw, where huge businesses  lie? Good thing Mercato Centrale finally has a solution for your cravings.

Open every Thursday and Friday, from 4PM to 3AM, Mercato Centrale's newest foodie destination is located at Glorietta 4, Dolphin Park (across Ascott Place).

What's so special about it, is that they have mats on the ground, where you can hang out with your friends and have a picnic. Now that's a great after work bonding! They even have live bands and entertainment to amuse everyone.

"Our patrons can enjoy a variety of great tasting and affordable food choices and live music performances at our first outdoor, picnic-inspired market", said Anton Diaz, co-founder of Mercato Centrale and blogger of www.OurAwesomePlanet.com

"Mercato Glorietta is also a great place to bring over tourists and balikbayan friends who want a taste of our local food culture. In fact, we would love for them to try the Pork Skewers Barbeque of our vendor Cuisiners, which was recently adjudged as the Tastiest Regional Specialty for Asia in the 2015 International Chowzter Awards", RJ Ledesma, co-founder of Mercato Centrale said.

So are you looking for a place to cap off the week? Visit Mercato at Glorietta 4 Dolphin Park now, and enjoy different flavors right inside the city.
