Maria Leonora Teresa Opens in Cinemas This September 17

Do you have a favorite doll? Did it ever say hello to you? This September 17, brace yourselves as Star Cinema's horror-drama film, Maria Leonora Teresa comes alive in cinemas and challenges your fear.

Directed by blockbuster director Wenn Deramas and written by Keiko Aquino, Maria Leonora Teresa is the newest Star Cinema horror film for the entire family.

Parents, Faith (Iza Calzado), Julio (Zanjoe Marudo) and Stella ( Jodi Sta. Maria) lost their daughters in an accident and resorted to adopting dolls that resembled their respective children. As they all accepted the doctor's advice, they will find out how this will bring them comfort in remembering their daughters, or cause them terror beyond their imagination.

During the blogcon, we asked the three characters if they would also resort to taking care of dolls if it happened to them in real life. Iza said that she would never judge the person if a parent happens to be wanting to do that. As a parent, Jodi wouldn't know if something like that happened to her child. Truly, this film projects the love of the parents to the their children and how acceptance can set us free.

Joining Iza, Zanjoe and Jodi are three talented children - Red Bustamante, JC Movida and Juvy Bison - playing the roles of Maria, Leonora and Teresa.
