Katy Perry's Part of Me 3D Premieres at Gateway Cineplex

I love, love, love Katy Perry! The first time I heard I Kissed a Girl, I was scandalized, but after her she released Thinking of You, I got so hooked. (Not to mention her Giambattista Valli shoes!) When Kath said that she’s inviting bloggers for the Philippine Premiere of Katy Perry’s Part of Me 3D at the Gateway Cineplex 10, I immediately signed up to watch this fabulous movie.

Katy Perry is known for her colorful songs and videos so the Gateway Cineplex was filled with all things cute and pretty. We can’t help posing in front of the cinema and tried out the wigs and felt like Katy Perry even for just a few minutes. We were also treated with hotdogs, popcorn, drinks and cotton candies to maximize the Katy experience. It was my first time to watch on 3D at the Gateway Cineplex and was treated with such royalty. Their 3D glasses are not uncomfortable with the eyes and the seats are the best, you would almost feel like you’re at the actual concert. Kudos to Gateway Cineplex for this one of a kind experience.

Part of Me 3D tells about Katy Perry’s journey to fame, loss and passion for performing. Born to Christian parents, Katherine Hudson was a praise and worship singer before turning into a pop superstar. As a struggling musician, she started writing songs about how she feels when she turned 18 and moved out of their home to experience independence for the very first time. After failing for a period of time, she never gave up on her dreams and became the famous singer that she is today.

This movie also features snippets from her concerts while she’s performing her famous songs “Firework”, “California Gurls”, “E.T.”, “I Kissed a Girl”, “T.G.I.F” and more. You should also see how she looks a bit like her sister, Angela, where she pulled a stunt in one of her concerts as Katy Beth Terry. Also, get to see the inside of her California Dreams Tour, her split up with Russel Brand, and how she overcome all the whirlwind events in her life.
