What A Girl Wants: Shopping at SM's Great Northern Sale!

I conquered and shopped at the Great Northern Sale!

I love payday Fridays. As a self-confessed shopaholic, SM City North EDSA's The Great Northern Sale is just one thing to love during the mid-year season. This July 13-15, shopaholics come in all shapes and sizes as big discounts and exciting promos are in your way. And this time, I went home as a happy girl because I was able to buy the things that are considered want/need. :)

Before I began to shop, I got hold of the Fashion Show at The Block. There were notable pieces that I wanted to buy since I'm trying to stock up my closet with fashionable finds. Who said being a size-L means you're limited to clothes? SM Department Store and other retail shops has everything you need, without compromising quality and your fashion sense.

After watching the show, I got my Gourmet Card that was given free at The Block. All you have to do is to register so you could get freebies and discounts at different dining establishments around SM City North EDSA. See, the Great Northern Sale does not only cater to shopping items, but also takes care of your tummy! Whether you prefer casual dining or gourmet delights, the choices and discounts are definitely endless.

As I was waiting for my friend, Krystle, to arrive, I immediately checked out my favorite store, Forever 21. I saw dresses that are now priced at Php500 and below, discounted shoes and accessories that are priced down. I was hoping to buy something to wear when I go out, but there are so many people that I don't have the luxury of time to fit them. I guess I have to go back tonight or on Sunday.

Roaming around The Block, I saw different stalls and one of them is Comfit. I have been going to their store whenever I'm at SM City North EDSA but I haven't had the budget to buy shoes from them before. I'm so happy that their prices are slashed in half, so without thinking twice, I bought a pretty pair of Adora flats. Not only does it look pretty in pink, they're comfy as well.

SM Department store is a wonderland for me. It lives to its slogan, "We've got it all for you" and they indeed have everything I need. They have bags that are perfect for the office or even just for going out, they fused different local and foreign brands when it comes to clothing wear, and they have shoes that are really in style and glam. I got myself a bag from Secosana for only Php650 where it was originally priced at Php1,399. The saleslady was kind enough to suggest a color that I like for a specific bag, so a happy girl I have been, even if they say that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day.
